It’s getting more and more scary. It’s getting more and more complicated. Advice and recommendations changes just about daily. Spare a thought for your family doctor. We have to keep up to date almost to the minute as to what to do if you were at one of those clusters in south west Sydney during one of the those listed dates (see below). Were you there on those dates? Do you need to isolate? Do you need to swab? What if you don’t have symptoms? Can your self isolation end if you test negative? Where do you get all that information? All very confusing even for us doctors?
As more cases crop up in the various locations in NSW, recommendations as to who needs testing and how long exposed people need to self isolate will evolve. Here is the latest from NSW Health.
